One of Ireland’s top renewable energy companies Gaelectric have just launched their new re-vamped website to the world. Produced by FTI consulting and designed by Begley & Hutton, it showcases the company’s latest projects and investments, as well as it’s people and divisions. Although their previous website worked well, recent major investments and expansion meant a revised online presence. Although known for their onshore wind farms, the new site has also better shown their strengths in off-shore wind, Biomass, Solar, and Energy storage.
I’ve been lucky to have worked with the company on projects going back to 2013, but this year has been a major busy period for me photographing and filming their latest projects both north and south of the border, as well as their people and premises.
They have recently partnered up with Elon Musk’s Tesla in trialing industrial energy storage on the island, as well as signing an agreement with Oriel Windfarm Ltd. to co-develop a significant offshore wind farm in the north Irish Sea.
Below is an example of some of the work I done as part of the new website. Suffice to say, I could not have done it without the great help and art direction from Gaelectric, FTI Consulting and Begley & Hutton, who were all a great crew to work with over the year.
